Lawton Elementary School 2022-2023 Direct Drive

 

Dolphin Dreams Direct Drive fundraiser is our school's largest fundraising event. We have just this one big, important ask for the Lawton community to come together to support programs and essential needs including arts and science programs, technology licenses, as well as funding for our librarian and recess & lunch monitors. The primary goal of the Dolphin Dreams campaign is to reach 100% participation with all members of our community coming together to support the students, teachers, staff, and families at the school. With our current student enrollment, the current ask per child is $436. However, we understand that not every family is able to give at that level, so please consider giving at the level at which you're comfortable. 

 

Every class that reaches 100% participation will earn an extra recess! So, even if you can't give at this time, please click on the "Participate Now" button to make sure to log your participation toward your child's class receiving an extra recess!

 

100% of your donation will be tax deductible and 100% of your donation will go to the PTA budget.

Once again, Lawton has partnered with Bailey Gatzert Elementary during the Direct Drive to support the needs of children in our broader community.

 

Last year, Lawton families generously donated over $10,000, providing much needed resources and support for their families and staff!! This year, their needs fall into three categories: tech organization & support, student nourishment and school morale. Bailey Gatzert is in need of support for keeping their 1:1 tech devices organized, safe and in working order, as well as providing online resources such as IXL and reading programs. Second, as a Title I school, nearly 80% of the student population qualify for free lunch and greatly depend on food and nourishment provided to them during the school day. Providing snacks to all kids would help sustain them between the free meals offered by the district and keep them focused on learning. Please consider supporting our partner school and the families in our community in addition to supporting Lawton during the Direct Drive.
